Great Beginnings

It is so nice to start a new school year. We have gotten off to a great start. Everyone seems to be adjusting to our routine. It has been a big change from third grade to fourth grade, especially since we change classes. All of the students seem to enjoy the changes as we go through the day. I know for us (the teachers) the day really flies. We barely arrive when it is time to go.

During this nine week period we will be studying Numbers and Operations, Rounding, Adding and Subtracting, even, odd, prime, and composite numbers. The students will be having homework soon. All homework assignments will be over skills that have been taught during class.

Anytime you have any questions don't hesitate to call, email, or write a note in the agenda. We look forward to having an awesome year!

Summer Fun

Hope your summer has been fun. I have moved into a new class room. I am now in Mrs. Sholtz' old room, next door to Mrs. McRae. Mrs. Brooks will be teaching with us this new school year. We are excited to have her with us. Her classroom will be directly across the hall from Mrs. Mcrae.

School will be starting up again soon but before we think about that. You have a wonderful remaining summer. Our supply list will be posted at Walmart and other stores soon.
